The following is a message from our EPCS hardware token vendor regarding shipping delays:
"We are facing an unexpected supply chain disruption with our hardware token supplier, which is causing a temporary delay of approximately 10 weeks for new hardware token deliveries. Please know that we are actively working with our supplier to explore alternative solutions to expedite the process.
In the meantime, we recommend that all clients use the MobileID/Authy application as an alternative method for authentication. To ensure transparency, we have included a disclaimer in the emails sent to providers with their license keys, informing them of the delay and encouraging them to proceed with software credentialing as a temporary measure.
Rest assured, you will be notified as soon as the situation is resolved. Whether we receive the delayed tokens or identify alternative options, we will begin fulfilling all back-ordered shipments as soon as possible.

Additionally, the disclaimer below is also included in the email sent to providers after their order:
"Attention: We are currently experiencing an extended delay in the delivery of Hardware EPCS Tokens. Following ID Proofing, we recommend that all Hardware users register their security credentials with MobileID/Authy (if supported by your EHR) and use the Authy app for digital signing until the hardware token arrives.
Once we receive the delayed shipment of EPCS Tokens, we will promptly ship all orders currently on hold to the address provided at checkout. We anticipate that these orders will be shipped in early April. We appreciate your patience and understanding."
